NHL Rumour Report: Frank Seravalli on the Big Show on the 27th on the Los Angeles Kings: “They’re in desperate need of a center, if they could pry loose Elias Pettersson at a price that they feel is reasonable, that’s a move I could see them making.”

Things are picking up between the Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames

NHL Watcher: Chris Johnston on The Chris Johnston Show on the Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche and Nazem Kadri:

“Definitely things are picking up with talks between the Avalanche & Flames..Right now the way it looks is that Colorado could be at the front of the list but we are down to one phone call territory now, where everything could change at a moment’s notice.

It’s definitely heated up there, I know he’d welcome a move to Colorado..we’ll see if they can get something done here in the next day or two.”

NHL Rumors: How Big Can the Colorado Avalanche Go?

The Avalanche could have a fallback at center in Toronto

NHL Watcher: Elliotte Friedman on NHL on TNT said that Kadri to Colorado is a difficult one to do as the Flames don’t want to retain salary on Kadri. The Avs could look at a Maple Leafs center.
