As we covered extensively here, Bayley saw a lot of success with the launch of Lodestone, an all-women’s wrestling seminar. The outpouring of support prompted Bayley to even launch a YouTube channel dedicated to upcoming Lodestone events and the female talents that are paving the way. The inaugural event saw the likes of Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair helping out. With Lodestone coming to Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend, a former WWE legend is also looking to help out.
Bayley Announces First 2026 Lodestone Class for WrestleMania Weekend
While WrestleMania 42 ticket sales are in the toilet, there is still going to be an influx of wrestling talent in Las Vegas. Therefore, it’s an opportune time for independent promoters to promote shows. In fact, Sandman’s retirement match is expected to take place during WrestleMania weekend.
It’s also common for wrestling dignitaries to host seminars during this time. Getting ahead of the hustle and bustle of the season, WWE’s Bayley is one of those promoters.
The former WWE Women’s Champion officially announced that Lodestone is coming to Las Vegas for WrestleMania weekend:
“Lodestone women is back, and we’re calling to all experienced female wrestlers. And it doesn’t matter your level of experience because we want to see you this April in Las Vegas, Nevada. That’s right, Lodestone is having their first ever class of 2026, Thursday, April 16th.”
There’s going to be a coffee hour, a workout, discussions, and attendees are even going to participate in matches. The event will be three hours long, and is free to aspiring and grinding women’s wrestlers.
Maria Kanellis Throws Her Name In: WWE Legend Offers to Join Lodestone
Last Lodestone was a resounding success, with the likes of Natalya and Rhea Ripley lending a helping hand. Bayley is expecting just as passionate a turnout. So, the Role Model is asking for all hands on deck, and all talent who want to learn are welcome.
Bayley took to social media:
“And I know this is a busy week for everybody, and that we have a busy schedule. But, if you’re interested and you can make it, email lodestonewomen@gmail.com, and I will get back to you with all the details, the address, and the time I would like you all to be there!”
It didn’t take long for one WWE legend to offer her services. Maria Kanellis told Bayley she was down to help in any way possible.
Former WWE Diva Maria wrote:
Maria last worked for WWE in 2020. She and her husband, Mike Bennett, were released from WWE following cuts related to the pandemic. Their run was dubious, with Mike taking Maria’s last name and playing a submissive character. Their one storyline went nowhere as Maria would get pregnant during their tenure. Maria’s last match for WWE took place in a Battle Royal during the inaugural Evolution event.
Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis joined AEW shortly after. Maria would leave the promotion in January 2025, while Mike remains a member of the ROH/AEW roster.
