Vicki, Jenny and I had a fun day sightseeing yesterday and shopping yesterday. The weather was fantastic, low to mid 60s, calm and a bright blue “California” sky. Mediterranean climates are. like that.
We walked about 20 minutes into town, (first stop was coffee for Vicki and Jenny and Coke Zero for me)!
We wandered past ruins from around 4-500 AD…the whole city is an archeological site it seems. Much different even from two years ago.

We had a nice lunch/brunch by the sea, and I had a wonderful seabreem fish, served whole of course as is normal here, perfectly grilled, and we shared the best French fries, piping hot.

Sufficiently refreshed, we went shopping. Vicki logically got a shopping bag first (my mom always started shopping by buying shopping shoes, very practical as well). Jenny found some gifts for friends too. I got spices.

On our way back to the hotel we found an outdoor “gym” with various machines all of which we tried, from teeter-totters to rotational ab workouts to leg swings, all with the sea in the background.

On our way back to our hotel, see stopped to get a pizza for Steve and water (don’t drink the water here if not used to it).
Jenny and I went to a nearby kabob and pide (a sort of Turkish pizza) restaurant for takeout dinner, and then it was back to the hotel, for dinner then I had a workout with bands and my new yoga mat ($5).
We change hotels today and continue to enjoy the fine weather, today and plan to hit the tennis courts later.
