The Vihiga County Rugby 15s Schools Championship pools have been officially confirmed, with a major development emerging after Ekwanda was disqualified from the competition.
The tournament had initially been structured into two pools of five teams each. Pool A consists of Chavakali, National and County Champions Vihiga, Ebusiloli, Nyang’ori and Ebubayi. The group is expected to produce tight contests as schools battle for qualification to the knockout stages.
EDITOR’S PICKS:
Pool B originally featured Senende, Ekwanda, Esalwa, Mbale and Kegoye. However, following Ekwanda’s disqualification, Pool B will now proceed with four teams: Senende, Esalwa, Mbale and Kegoye.

The matches will kick off on Thursday at Chavakali High Sschool with the semis and final slated for Saturday at the school.
