Logan Paul isn’t backing down from Tom Brady — and now the WWE star is turning the rivalry into something much bigger.
After Brady called Paul a “bitch” in a viral video while training with Rob Gronkowski for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, Paul addressed the situation on his Impaulsive podcast. While responding to the clip, the conversation quickly shifted toward whether NFL players could actually handle themselves in a real fight.
Paul made it clear he doesn’t believe they could. While discussing the upcoming flag football event and the growing tension around it, Paul claimed Brady wouldn’t actually want things to turn physical. Paul then referenced the viral clip that sparked the response.
“I’m not kidding. There’s a lot of drama, but trust me, Tom Brady does not want to throw hands.”
“Also there’s a clip of him out there calling me a bitch. Him and Gronk going back and forth. Tom Brady calling me a bitch to Gronk, of all people.”
From there, Paul pivoted to his own combat sports experience and suggested that professional football players would struggle in an actual fight against someone with boxing training.
“I mean whoever wants to step up. Because it’s a lot of talk. And by the way, when it comes to football, like I said, I think it’s cute. I think it’s cute. If any of the football players want to fight, we can see what happens.”
Paul then delivered the most direct claim of the entire conversation, insisting that not a single NFL player could beat him in a boxing match.
“Not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match. That is on God.”
When co-hosts brought up the possibility of elite athletes like Myles Garrett stepping into the ring, Paul doubled down instead of walking the comment back. Paul even offered a financial incentive for anyone willing to test his claim.
“I would throttle Myles Garrett. A million dollars. A million dollars. You come to the gym, we put on boxing gloves, we see how it goes.”
According to Paul, the biggest difference comes down to fighting experience — something he believes most NFL players simply don’t have.
“It’s just — there’s levels to the shit. Even if we’re just talking about hand-to-hand combat… what happens when you take a football player and you wrestle them and then you ground-and-pound them? They’re not going to know what to do.”
Paul added that he expects to be targeted during the upcoming flag football event because of the growing rivalry and the comments he’s made publicly.
“These football players are going to be gunning for me in this flag football game, and I’m not playing this cute shit. At the end of the day I will throw hands with any of you.”
With the Fanatics Flag Football Classic approaching, the cross-sport tension between Paul and NFL stars is becoming a storyline of its own. Whether it stays as verbal sparring or turns into something more intense remains to be seen, but Paul clearly believes his combat training gives him the edge over any football player willing to test him.
