Future Champions Golf Expands Younger Age Divisions at Four Premier West Coast Events
Champions to Qualify for the 2026 FCG Callaway World Junior Golf Championship
Future Champions Golf (FCG) is proud to announce the expansion of younger age divisions at four premier events in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest this spring. This strategic growth reflects FCG’s continued commitment to building true development pathways for junior golfers of all ages — from their first multi-day competition to competing on the world stage.
With the addition of new younger divisions, each division champion at these events will earn an exemption into the prestigious 2026 FCG Callaway World Junior Golf Championship — now expanding to 850 players from 40+ countries competing across 12 championship courses.

Building the Pathway Early
The expansion is designed to introduce younger players to high-level, multi-day tournament competition earlier in their development.
“True player development happens in multi-day competitions,” said Chris Smeal, Founder and President of Future Champions Golf. “If a junior golfer dreams of competing at the highest levels — whether that’s college golf, major amateur championships, or professional golf — they must learn how to score, compete, and manage themselves over multiple days. By adding these younger divisions, we’re creating those opportunities earlier.”
Each champion from these new divisions will earn a coveted spot into the 2026 FCG Callaway World Junior Golf Championship, one of the most widely promoted junior golf events in the world.

This expansion provides more young athletes around the world the opportunity to compete against the best and experience an international championship atmosphere.
More Than a Tournament — A Development System
FCG’s mission has always been clear: build structured pathways that allow juniors to progress step by step.
From local National Tour events…
To Regional Championships…
To International Competition…
To the FCG Callaway World Championship…
The addition of younger divisions ensures that aspiring 9–10 and 11–12 year olds are not just participating — they are competing with purpose, earning exemptions, and gaining experience that accelerates growth.
As participation in junior golf continues to surge across high schools and local programs, FCG remains committed to providing meaningful competition and clear advancement opportunities.
Registration is now open for all four events. Families are encouraged to secure their spots early as fields are expected to fill quickly with the expanded divisions.
