Mexico City, Mexico (March 5th, 2026)– At UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Kavanagh (UFC Fight Night 268) on February 28, 2026, #6 Lone’er Kavanagh, 26, (10-1) pulled off a massive upset by defeating the hometown hero and former champion Brandon Moreno, 32, (23-11-2) via unanimous decision. Taking the fight on short notice, Kavanagh used sharp striking and heavy calf kicks to stifle Moreno, who struggled to land takedowns throughout the five-round main event. Moreno has lost 4 of his last 6 fights.
David Martinez continued his rapid ascent in the bantamweight division, outpointing former title challenger Marlon “Chito” Vera to earn his 10th consecutive win.
Veteran King Green delivered a vintage “Matrix” style performance, taunting and eventually stopping local favorite Daniel Zellhuber with a flurry of punches late in the second round.
Imanol Rodriguez overcame a near-finish in the first round to secure a comeback TKO victory in his promotional debut. Meanwhile, Ryan Gandra recorded the night’s fastest finish with a 41-second TKO in the prelims.
