In advance of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Brighton & Hove Albion, manager Erik ten Hag stated that forward Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United has the potential to be a world-class player if he continues to put in the necessary work.

Mainoo, a 19-year-old midfielder for United, was an important member of former England manager Gareth Southgate’s squad as they finished their Euro 2024 campaign, and Ten Hag felt that experience had improved Mainoo’s abilities.
“Those encounters will only make him a more proficient player (this season). A midfielder who excels in both attacking and defense is the ideal player. He is a capable player who can operate as a holding midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder,” the man stated.
