Danhausen’s bizarre WWE Elimination Chamber debut came with a full gothic presentation, and now more details have surfaced about exactly who played the “Ghoulhausens” during the entrance — including the lead performer.
When WWE finally opened the mystery crate during the February 28 Elimination Chamber event in Chicago, fans saw a coffin surrounded by eerie vampire-style dancers before Danhausen emerged for his debut. The presentation instantly became one of the most talked-about moments of the night. Fightful Select has now reported that WWE brought in local talent for the segment rather than using roster members or standard extras.
“WWE got professional dancers in the Chicago area to serve as the Ghoulhausens for Danhausen’s debut.”
That explains most of the group, but Danhausen himself later revealed one key detail that made the entrance even more personal. According to Danhausen, the lead Ghoulhausen was his wife, Lou Lou La Duchesse. In an Instagram post reflecting on the moment, Danhausen specifically thanked her for taking that role in the presentation.
“WWEHAUSEN Thank you @loulouladuchesse for everything and leading the ghoulhausens. I love you.”
So while the Ghoulhausens overall were made up of professional dancers from the Chicago area, the lead dancer in the group was Lou Lou La Duchesse. Danhausen also used the post to thank the fans, friends, and family who supported him on the road from small independent shows all the way to his WWE debut in front of nearly 20,000 fans at the United Center.
The update gives a clearer picture of how WWE put the segment together, while also confirming that Danhausen’s debut included a personal touch with his wife playing a central role in the entrance.
