How to watch Strade Bianche 2026

The WorldTour visits Italy for the first time this season at Strade Bianche this weekend. With both the men’s and women’s races scheduled for Saturday 7th March 2026, the gravel roads will see Grand Tour winners clash among the breathtaking backdrop of southern Tuscany.

The Italian race, made famous for its sterrato, will be celebrating its 20th birthday this year. Although that’s not long in cycling terms, it’s had fan favourite status since its promotion to the WorldTour in 2017. In that time, greats of the modern era have picked up the trophy in Siena, including Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert, Tadej Pogačar, Demi Vollering and Annemiek van Vleuten.

Last year, Tadej Pogačar rolled into the Piazza del Campo solo to bring home his third Strade Bianche title. In the women’s race, it was a tale of two former teammates, as Demi Vollering broke free from Anna van der Breggen on the Via Santa Caterina to take her second Strade trophy.

Pogačar and Vollering will return to Tuscany to defend their titles this weekend as part of startlists that include Tom Pidcock, Isaac del Toro, Wout van Aert, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney and Elisa Longo Borghini. Reigning Tour de France Femmes champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will also use the race to make her 2026 debut.
