The main event match at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon turned into a chaotic fight that spilled around ringside before finally reaching its conclusion inside the ring. After a long back-and-forth battle filled with near falls, interference, and referee drama, Rhodes managed to hit the Cody Cutter followed by Cross Rhodes to secure the victory and reclaim the title.
Moments after the win, Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes took to social media with a quick reaction to the championship moment, writing, “QB1 👑”
The short message appeared on her Twitter account shortly after Cody’s title victory aired, referencing the nickname many fans associate with Rhodes as the face of WWE’s top championship scene.
Cody’s victory came after a chaotic closing stretch that saw multiple referees involved and outside interference. At one point, Jacob Fatu appeared to remove a steel chair from McIntyre’s hands before the action returned to the ring.
From there, Rhodes capitalized on the opening and delivered the finishing sequence that ended McIntyre’s title reign. With Rhodes once again holding the Undisputed WWE Championship, the road to WrestleMania just took a major turn as WWE continues building toward its biggest show of the year.
