CLUB STATEMENT:
Prices frozen for 19th successive year
Deadline day to secure existing seats 4pm on Friday, May 1
12-month finance available until Tuesday, March 31
Stoke City Season Cards for the 26/27 season are now on sale with prices frozen for a 19th successive year.
Card carrying Potters for the current campaign have until 4pm on Friday, May 1, to secure their existing seat.
The prices, which include the opportunity for under-11s to attend for £1 per game, will not increase between now and the start of the 26/27 season.
The deadline, meanwhile, to ensure the lowest possible monthly payment when purchasing via direct debit is Tuesday, March 31.
Season Cards will, as ever, represent by far the best value-for-money way to watch the Potters across 23 home Championship fixtures at the bet365 Stadium.
Manager Mark Robins, for whom 26/27 will represent a second full season at the helm, said: “The commitment from the Club and our owner to making football affordable for supporters by keeping the price frozen for such a long time is like nothing I’ve ever seen anywhere else in football. It’s absolutely incredible, and it gives our fans the best possible opportunity to join us on the journey.
“We’re working tirelessly both on the field and behind the scenes to move things forward and really attack this league.
“Everything is here within the stature of the Club, our facilities and John Coates’ amazing owner support for us to do that and we will not stop striving.
“I know from experience that this kind of success simply cannot happen without a really strong connection between players, staff and the support in the stands.
“Our supporters have been absolutely brilliant since I arrived and, the more we can fill our stadium, that’s only going to get better, and it will make a massive difference.”
Supporters can secure their Season Cards online at tickets.stokecityfc.com, over the phone on 01782 367 599, or in person at the bet365 Stadium Ticket Office now. Opening hours have been extended until 5pm today.
Supporters are asked to kindly note that, to qualify for seats in designated family areas, purchasing groups will need to include a minimum of one adult (U21/Adult/65+) and one junior (U11/U15) Season Card (maximum of two adults per junior).
As mentioned, Stoke City have been praised by fans after freezing season ticket prices for a 19th year in a row…
@RussellDutton: The owners have been incredible both on ticket prices for nearly two decades and their management and payment of our debts, without them god knows where we would have been. For all they’ve done to the stadium and our training ground too they deserve this club to move forward and everyone employed by the club in any capacity should be doing their upmost to reward that investment. The stability they have given us in ownership terms is an envy of the vast majority of clubs and its supporters. I’ve criticised them from a football perspective but never from a financial perspective and that tempers any criticism. For all they’ve put in it is baffling why they haven’t got the benefit their investment deserves but eventually it has to bear fruit.
@scottmwalker14: Need to commend the ownership for not to put inflation and increased running costs on fans over last 19 years along with free away travel. Definition of looking after their fans 👏👏
@Wayne_adams83: John Coates as his faults & made plenty of mistakes but this side of the club is excellent. 💪🔴⚪️
@RockcliffeFiles: We are many things, and some weeks the performances suggest we are rotten to the very core, but off the pitch we continue to be different class. Free travel to away games too, and millions invested into our community, credit where it’s due.
@SCFCLuke1: They have their issues, but the Coates’ are fucking ace sometimes
@sherratt1876: Got to say fair play to Stoke here. In a world where everything is getting more expensive, they’re still making football affordable. 19 seasons that’s some going 👏👏👏👍
@wwfc2004: Take fucking note wolves. That’s unbelievable from Stoke 19 seasons on the bounce no increase. Taking inflation into account it’s phenomenal work. That’s what looking after the fans looks like
@RyanJosephJack: 19 years without an increase in the price of a season ticket is simply unbelievable. Think of how much inflation there’s been in that time and how much things have gone up, but our season tickets have stayed the same price. You can’t fault it.
@StokeyyG2: 19 whole seasons, no price hike. Huge applauds to the Coates family.
@tdog1410: There’s not much you can get for the same prices as you did 19 years ago. This is how you look after a fan base in a working class city.
@secondtierpod: Stoke heading into their 19th season without raising prices of their season tickets. Can only applaud it in a climate where just about everything is expensive 👏
@stokecity_SH: Could say a lot about this club, but one thing they do is look after the fans and pricing their tickets.
@benarowley:
Thing that happened since today’s prices were set in 2008:
– Four World Cups
– Five EUROs
– Messi wins 8 Balon d’Ors
– UK Inflation rises 64.5%
– Stoke get promoted to PL, FA Cup Final, Europa League Knockouts, Stokealona, Relegation and, pretty much, back to where they started.
This is to be applauded but has to end soon surely? Inflation calculator reckons I should be paying £580+ by now 👀 pic.twitter.com/19gYbHcJ8k
