Tatum Paxley is a champion in NXT once again. This time, she captured gold by defeating the very woman who previously cost her the NXT Women’s Title – Izzi Dame.
Paxley defeated Dame at Vengeance Day on Saturday to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion. This ended Dame’s reign at 60 days. With this victory, Paxley becomes only the second woman in history to win both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT Women’s North American Championship. The only other woman to accomplish this is current Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
The final moments of the match had Shawn Spears involved who eventually got knocked off the apron by Dame mistakenly. Paxley got a roll up for a two count. Dame fought back with a codebreaker, but Paxley landed on her feet! Paxley hit a pele kick before landing Cemetery Drive to get the pin and become new champion.
Earlier in the night, Blake Monroe was victorious against Jaida Parker in a Street Fight. A fight to the end in this match resulted in diamonds flooding the ring. Parker found herself on the receiving end of the Glamour Shock onto the diamonds as Monroe took the win.
Lola Vice continues to be the Queen of the Underground as she was victorious against Kelani Jordan. Vice won by TKO.
