NHL Injury Notes

Dan Arritt: Anaheim Ducks forward Mikael Granlund returned to the lineup after missing the past six games with an upper-body injury that he suffered at the Olympics in the bronze medal game.

Taylor Baird: Chicago Blackhawks forward Oliver Moore left last night’s game in the first period after being in a collision with Colin Blackwell. He’s been ruled out for tonight’s game, but his status after that is unknown.

Colorado Avalanche: Forward Gabriel Landeskog is listed as week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

  • NHL: Coach Jared Bednar: “Well, it’s a lower-body injury, and not a comfortable one,” coach Jared Bednar said. “That’s the time frame that the doctors gave us.”

NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Dante Fabbro could return to the lineup tonight. He’s missed their past two games with a lower-body injury.

NHL: Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury.

“It’s going to be a couple weeks for sure,” Dallas coach Glen Gulutzan said. “We don’t know exactly how much but it’s not a couple of days, so we’ll see how long that is. … We’re hoping before the playoffs.”

Mike Morreale: Detroit Red Wings goaltender John Gibson left last night’s game after the second period after Devils forward Timo Meier pushed Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond into him with five seconds left in the second.

Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin missed last night’s game and isn’t scheduled to skate today.

NHL: Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny and defenseman Nick Seeler are game-time decisions tonight.

Wes Crosby: Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby missed his seventh consecutive game with a lower-body injury.

Forward Justin Brazeau missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Dan Arritt: St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko missed his fifth consecutive game with a back injury.
