Chris Jericho Brings Back ‘The List of Jericho’ at Fan Event Amid WWE Rumors

Chris Jericho just brought back one of his most iconic gimmicks — and the timing is certainly interesting amid growing speculation about his future in wrestling.

The AEW star took to TikTok on March 9, 2026 and uploaded a video from the Big Texas Terror fan event in San Antonio, Texas. The clip showed Jericho bringing back his legendary “List of Jericho,” something fans haven’t seen in years.

The video captured Jericho interacting with a young fan as he dramatically wrote her name on the list and had her repeat the moment with him — clearly enjoying the callback to one of his most famous gimmicks: “She made the list at Big Texas Terror!! 📋 #chrisjericho #chrisjerichothelist #wrestlinghistory #wrestlingtok”

The famous prop became a major part of Jericho’s 2016 WWE run, where he would dramatically add people to the list whenever they annoyed him — turning “You just made the list!” into one of the most recognizable catchphrases in wrestling.

After leaving WWE and joining AEW in 2019, Jericho largely retired the gimmick. In fact, he even referenced it on AEW television that same year when he joked that the list was outdated and introduced the “Lexicon of Le Champion” instead. That’s why seeing the list resurface again — even at a fan event — got people talking.

It’s unclear whether the moment was simply a nostalgic callback for fans or if Jericho intends to revisit the gimmick in a bigger way. For now, he remains under contract with AEW, but the timing of the throwback is certainly interesting given the speculation about his future.

Do you think Chris Jericho bringing back “The List of Jericho” means anything about his future, or was it just a fun callback for fans? Let us know your thoughts.
