Over 100 young hockey players took part in the 2026 UK edition of the IIHF Global Girls’ Game.
Girls from all over the UK travelled to the National Ice Centre in Nottingham on Saturday for the very special event.
A morning of training and skills was followed by a series of games as the UK played its part in one of the biggest weekends of the IIHF season.
The exciting weekend-long event – which began in 2015 – sees matches taking place across the world from New Zealand and Asia to Europe and the Americas.
In each country, Team Blue goes head-to-head with Team White with a running tally between the two teams across the weekend and across the world.
Team Blue beat Team White 5-2 in the official 2026 UK Global’ Girls Game.
