With IESF going to make the announcement apropos WEC26 only in mid March 2026, MSSA is unable to hold its National Team Trials on 14 March 2026.
The National Team Trials for IESF’s WEC26 will thus be moved to 25 April 2026.
Two events will be squeezed in to ensure that all athletes have a chance to qualify for the National Team Trials that will be used to select the Protea Team that will officially represent South Africa at IESF’s WEC26.
- 14 March 2026 – 15th Provincial Online Championships
- 18 April 2026 – 6th KWAZULU NATAL Online Championships
- 25 April 2026 – National Team Trials for titles to be played at IESF
The Board is still set to decide upon the date for the other titles. In
All member clubs and athletes are reminded that teams are only chosen if there is at least participation from four (4) provinces during the year.
