The Australian Open was last staged in November/December 2024 when staged in conjunction with the men’s equivalent, but moves to March 2026.
It is now the third event of a four-tournament Australian swing of the 2026 Ladies European Tour schedule and moves to Kooyonga Golf Club.
Jiyai Shin is the reigning champion after victory in the last edition in 2024.

Women’s Australian Open Format & Schedule
The Women’s Australian Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Kingston Heath Golf Club and The Victoria Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.
A field of 84 women will play a round at each of the courses on the opening two days. The top 32 and ties will make the cut and play weekend rounds at The Australian Golf Club.

The Australian Open golf tournament carries a prize fund of $1,700,000 AUD.
