Despite being expected to launch just a week from now, details about Valorant Agent 30 remain shrouded in mystery. So far, very little is known about his identity or playstyle. However, the recently released teaser offers several new hints about how this new Agent might ultimately play out.

Valorant Agent 30 Role
Several leaks have surfaced on social media forums so far that heavily lean towards the new Valorant Agents being a Controller.
This would make the most sense given the current roster of agents in the game, as the past four additions have included two Sentinels, a Duelist, and an Initiator. The last Controller added to Valorant, Clove, joined the shooter nearly two years ago on March 26, 2024.
Valorant Agent 30 Abilities
While Riot Games has yet to officially shed light on the new Agent’s abilities, the latest teaser might offer clues about what players can expect.
In the Valorant Agent 30 teaser, we can see a little robot, somewhat similar in shape to Raze’s boom bot, emitting sound waves. Many players believe that one or more of the new Agent’s abilities will revolve around this robot, and he will be able to heal his teammates or buff them in other ways using this.
According to prominent Valorant leaker ‘valohabercisi’ on X, Agent 30 will reportedly be able to grant a buff to a teammate. If the buffed player secures a kill, a zone will form around them that boosts their healing and damage.
Other details about his abilities, including his smokes and his ultimate ability, have not been leaked at the time of writing.
