IceHogs Earn a Point, But Fall 2-1 in OT to the Admirals

Milwaukee, IL – The Rockford IceHogs fell 2-1 in overtime to the Milwaukee Admirals at UWM Panther Arena.

The Admirals got the games’ opening goal at 8:41 when Kalan Lind poked in a rebound underneath Olivier Rodrigue.

Rockford equalized 1-1 in the middle of the 2nd period. Kevin Korchinski spotted Kevin Lombardi at the near dot and threw a perfect pass from the blue line onto his stick. Lombardi finished past Murray for the man-advantage tally.

The IceHogs pushed in the 3rd period, but couldn’t find the go-ahead goal. In overtime, Milwaukee’s Jordan Oesterle scored just seven seconds in to give the Admirals the 2-1 win.

Up next, the IceHogs host the Chicago Wolves on Friday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. inside the BMO Center. It’s a $2 beer and soft drink night presented by Bud Light. Tickets are available at icehogs.com.
