Previously part of the T-GT bundle, Thrustmaster’s official Gran Turismo wheel rim can now be bought separately.
Following their unveil at last year’s SimRacing Expo, Thrustmaster has announced the GT and Ferrari SF-25 Wheel Add-Ons will go on sale next month. Pre-orders for both peripherals are now live, with shipping expected to start on 8th April.
Previously part of the T-GT and T-GT II wheel base, rim and pedal bundles, Thrustmaster’s officially licensed Gran Turismo wheel rim is now available separately. It’s compatible with the T818 and T598 Direct Drive wheel bases without an adapter on PS5, PS4 and PC.
Measuring 11 inches / 28 cm in diameter, the GT Wheel Add-On is wrapped in grippy textured leather and features four rotary metal dials for adjusting up to 12 different settings. These are automatically mapped in Gran Turismo to adjust traction control, brake bias, fuel, and torque, and can be fully customised on PC.
The wheel rim is equipped with two mini sticks, metal paddle shifters, a d-pad, and action buttons that mimic a PlayStation controller, making it easy for PS5 users to navigate menus.
Available to pre-order, the Thrustmaster GT Wheel Add-On costs €249.99.
Thrustmaster’s Formula Wheel Ferrari SF-25 Add-On, on the other hand, is a 1:1 replica of the wheel used in Ferrari’s 2025 Formula 1 car driven by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
Its 4.3-inch LCD screen can display up to 69 pieces of information, while 21 LEDs display engine speed and race information. It also features 25 action buttons and seven encoders.
It also features a carbon-fibre central faceplate and aluminium gear shifters. Like the GT, the Ferrari SF-25 Add-On is compatible with the T818 and T598 Direct Drive wheel bases on PS5, PS4 and PC. In response to a user on X, Thrustmaster confirmed it will also be compatible with Xbox in the future.
