The Nike Kobe 3 has historically been thought of as one of the weaker Kobe Bryant shoes, but it’s amazing what a little tender love and care can do. The Kobe 3 Low Protro, revised with modern tech and today’s hooper-preferred height, is quickly becoming the talk of the Kobeverse in 2026. The model arrived in the “Warning Label” collection during NBA All-Star Weekend and is set to debut widely with the Kobe 3 Low Protro “Mamba Magic” on March 13th. Nike’s key college basketball programs have been among the first to put the updated model to the test. Following a Duke PE, the Oregon Ducks women’s squad has taken to the ‘net with not one, but two different styles to lace up for March Madness.
Both pairs feature yellow interiors and abstract green/yellow outsoles, but while one comes with a white cage, the other opts for green. This caps another strong year for Oregon PEs, preceded by a Book 1, GT Future, and a Sabrina 3 created in partnership with the Grateful Dead. The Oregon women are shaping up as a dark horse pick to make a deep NCAA Tournament run, while the men are already out of contention after a first-round exit in the Big Ten Tournament.
These won’t see a public release, but the Swoosh did just drop the Nike Sabrina 3 “Oregon” if you’re interested.
