The defending champions are ready to defend their WCPL title, as they are only a game away to clinch their second Women’s Caribbean Premier League trophy.
Hayley Matthews-led side defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors women in the fifth match of the WCPL 2024 by 17 runs to secure a berth to finale.
This was their third consecutive victory this edition, having defeated Guyana Amazon two times and Trinbago Knight Riders women in one game.

Hayley Matthew got out for the first time this season after playing two back-to-back match winnings knocks in the first two games.
No batter from team Barbados Royals were able to cross 20-run mark, as the highest scorer for the team was Qiana Joseph (19).
With their struggling batting approach, team Barbados managed to cross 101 in 20 overs.
Erin Burns was the pick of the bowlers for Guyana Amazon with 3 wickets.
Guyana failed to chase 102 in 20 overs
The score was as easy as cakewalk, but unfortunately Guyana Amazon Warriors women failed to chase that target too.
There were still some hopes left despite losing half of their side for 44 in 11.1 overs, but a 17-run partnership in next six overs between Ashwini Munisar 14 off 30, and Natasha McLean 20 off 23, ruined Guyana chance to stay in the game, as they fell short by 17 runs.
After winning matches with bat in first two game, skipper Hayley Matthew won her side yet another game this time with ball in hand. Captain Matthews secured a four-wicket haul during her 4-over spell while giving only 14 runs.
Qiana Joseph grabbed the player of the match award for her electrifying performance with the ball, as her spell of 4-0-16-3 played a huge role in Barbados victory.
