Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is heading back to the Mile-High City with another explosive night of action as BKFC 88 takes place Friday, April 17 at the National Western Center.
The event will be headlined by Denver’s own Chris Camozzi facing knockout specialist Esteban Rodriguez for the interim BKFC cruiserweight title.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale through BKFC’s official website.
Camozzi vs Rodriguez Headlines BKFC 88
Former BKFC Cruiserweight World Champion Chris Camozzi (4-2) returns to compete in front of his hometown crowd as he battles rising contender Esteban “Mohawk” Rodriguez (5-1, 5 KOs) of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Camozzi began his championship run with a first-round knockout of Sawyer DePee at BKFC 67 in Denver on October 25, 2024. He later defended the title against Andrea Bicchi at BKFC 73 in Florence, Italy.
Most recently, Camozzi suffered a competitive unanimous decision loss to Alessio Sakara at BKFC 83 in Rome, ending his title reign but setting up his return to contention in this interim championship bout.
Rodriguez enters the fight as one of the most dangerous knockout artists in the division. All five of his professional victories have come by knockout, including recent stoppages of Zac Cavender, Julio Perez Rodriguez, and Keegan Vandermeer.
Feldman Promises Another Packed Night in Denver
BKFC Founder and President David Feldman believes Denver continues to be one of the promotion’s strongest markets.
“Some of our best nights and largest crowds have taken place in Denver, CO and we’re very excited to return on April 17 with another tremendous card,” Feldman said.
“Chris Camozzi against Esteban Rodriguez, #1 versus #2 ranked in the cruiserweight division, promises fireworks from the opening bell and we have a sensational undercard with many of Colorado’s top bare-knuckle fighters.”
He also urged fans to purchase tickets early.
“Tickets are now on-sale and I encourage fans to buy in advance, we sell out all over the world and this event will be packed on fight night.”
Brito vs Figueroa Featured Lightweight Bout
Former BKFC champion Elvin Brito (7-6) returns to action in the lightweight division against Colorado’s Ramiro Figueroa (4-1).
Brito is coming off a fourth-round stoppage victory over Brandon Meyer at BKFC 79. Figueroa enters the fight riding momentum following wins over Dalvin Blair at BKFC 86 and Howard Davis at BKFC 85.
Outside bare-knuckle competition, Figueroa also holds a 7-4-1 professional boxing record with three knockouts.
Heavyweights Clash in Denver
Heavyweight action will see Denver’s Josh Copeland face Montana’s Corey Willis.
Copeland last competed at BKFC 78 against current BKFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski in a bout stopped due to cuts in the fourth round. Willis looks to rebound after a tough fight with top contender Leonardo Perdomo at BKFC 85.
Additional BKFC 88 Fights
The undercard features several newcomers and rising fighters from across the United States:
- Josh Fremd vs Jared Torgeson (Cruiserweight)
- Andrew Yates vs Rodney Hinton (Welterweight)

- Octavin Turner vs Joby Steffensmeier (Flyweight)
