Beating him in dominant fashion will show what I already know, and what a lot of people know, that I belong at the top.”
Fight prediction
Neither man boasts significant punching power, so expect this bout to go the distance. Despite the lack of power, Barboza tends to go with an aggressive approach in his fights. Sims possesses a great jab and is an effective counterpuncher, both of which should help him in this matchup. Stylistically speaking, this should be a tough fight for Barboza to win. Expect Sims to get the victory via unanimous decision.
