With the game on the line, Arizona didn’t call a timeout. The Wildcats put the ball in Jaden Bradley’s hands and let the Big 12 Player of the Year win the game himself.

Bradley’s fadeaway buzzer-beater capped a thrilling final few minutes and sent Arizona into the Big 12 tournament final with an 82-80 win over Iowa State on Saturday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. Moments before Bradley hit the shot, Iowa State guard Tamin Lipsey knocked down a 3-pointer, the Cyclones’ 14th of the game, to tie the game at 80 with 15 seconds to go.

The Wildcats and Cyclones combined to make 11 of 13 shots over the final 4:09 of the game, throwing haymakers back and forth until Bradley had the final say.

Arizona (31-2), the regular-season Big 12 champion and likely No. 1 seed in next week’s NCAA Tournament, will play the winner of Houston and Kansas in Saturday’s conference championship. Iowa State (27-7) projects as a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Bradley finished with 15 points, seven assists and no turnovers for Arizona, which was led by Anthony Dell’Orso’s 26 points, including six 3s, off the bench. Iowa State’s Milan Momcilovic, the nation’s leader in 3-point field goal percentage, hit 8-of-14 3s en route to a 28-point night.
