The March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown was a special one. The Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, was packed for a Friday the 13th show.
Drew McIntyre is not happy about how Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship from him last week. This week on SmackDown, the Scottish Warrior was able to open up the show.
The show opened with Drew McIntyre hijacking the show. He got on the announce table and threatened to stay there all night long unless Nick Aldis could make this right. Then Nick Aldis came out to explain that there is no “making this right.”
Nick Aldis said that Drew McIntyre is playing the victim, and he refuses to look at the consequences of his own actions. McIntyre called Cody a “corporate champion,” and then he called Aldis a “corporate stooge.” Nick didn’t like that at all, and then he pointed out how McIntyre kept screwing Cody, but then he was able to beat him the first chance he could.
Drew McIntyre got in Nick Aldis’ face next and declared this is “bullsh*t.” At that point, Jacob Fatu made his way out next. He made it clear that he fixed the situation last week so Drew is no longer champion. Jacob said it’s not about Nick Aldis or Cody Rhodes. Fatu told Drew to blame him, not Nick, Cody, or the referee. “Let’s keep it 100% with you, I’m the one who screwed your ass.”
Jacob asked Drew what he was going to do about this, and then Drew said he’s done with everyone. Then he quit and walked off through the crowd.
