Candice Michelle begins a new role with TNA Wrestling. The company announced that the former WWE Women’s Champion has signed with the promotion after quietly working with them for several months.
Michelle’s involvement with TNA had already been hinted at. She was seen in the crowd during the live debut of TNA iMPACT! on AMC in January 2026. She also helped promote the company’s live events in New Mexico. However, TNA had not officially confirmed that she was working with them until now.
The news was shared on TNA’s social media, where a video showed Michelle signing her contract. This is her first official wrestling contract since leaving WWE in 2009.
Candice Michelle Working as an Agent for the TNA Knockouts Division
Michelle won’t return to the ring, most probably. According to The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, she will work backstage as an agent and producer. She will mainly work with the company’s Knockouts division, where she will guide the talent, assist with match planning, and support the creative direction of the women’s roster.
Michelle also shared how excited she is to return to the wrestling world. She said the opportunity came after a phone call from longtime wrestling figure Tommy Dreamer on December 26.
“It feels so good to be ‘home’ with wrestling, and I’m just loyal. I’ve been loyal with Tommy for 20 years, loyal to the business, and I didn’t know that this could come back. So, to give me a platform so I can help build this with you guys and be a small piece of that and see where I can fit in there on any angle, it’s really just a dream come true,” she said.
Michelle has a long history in the business. She spent about five years with WWE in the mid-to-late 2000s and became a well-known face. During that time, she won the WWE Women’s Championship and also worked in modeling and acting.
Michelle has had only one match since 2009. That match took place in 2017 for House of Hardcore, where she faced Lisa Marie Varon. Even with limited in-ring appearances, she has still popped up in wrestling from time to time. In 2019, she briefly won the WWE 24/7 Championship.
Now, with her official signing with TNA, Michelle will contribute in a new way.
