Dublin, Ireland, (March 13th, 2026)– WBA World Super Featherweight Champion James “Jazza” Dickens is set to make his first title defense tomorrow, March 14, 2026, against Anthony Cacace at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. This bout headlines a Queensberry Promotions St. Patrick’s Day weekend event.

Dickens, 34, (36-5, 15 KOs) was upgraded from interim to full WBA champion late last year. He faces a significant physical challenge in the taller, longer Cacace, 37 (24-1, 9 KOs), a former IBF titleholder who never lost his belt in the ring.

Anthony Cacace has a significant reach advantage over Jazza Dickens, boasting a 71-inch reach compared to Dickens’ 63-inch, a difference of eight inches. Standing at 5’10”, Cacace is also five inches taller than the 5’5″ Dickens, making Cacace the much larger fighter in their matchup. Dickens will need to navigate Cacace’s long-range shots to force “phone booth” exchanges on the inside, where he traditionally thrives.

Dickens is on a four-fight winning streak, including a major upset over Albert Batyrgaziev in 2025.

Dickens’ preparation was complicated by travel disruptions in Dubai, forcing a multi-leg journey through Oman and Istanbul to reach Dublin just in time for fight week.

The event will be broadcast live on DAZN starting at 3:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM GMT.
