AAA has already revealed its next major event while the promotion’s Rey de Reyes special continues to unfold.
During the broadcast of week one of AAA Rey de Reyes, the company announced that its next special event will be Noche de Los Grandes. The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 30 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Tickets for the event will officially go on sale beginning Friday, March 20. The announcement comes as AAA continues to move forward under WWE ownership. It has now been nearly a full year since WWE revealed it had acquired Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, marking one of the most significant business moves in modern wrestling.
Since the acquisition, multiple AAA talents have appeared across WWE programming. Several wrestlers from the promotion have competed on NXT television, appeared at NXT Premium Live Events, and even made appearances on WWE’s main roster shows and PLEs.
With another major event now on the calendar, AAA appears to be continuing its push to grow the brand while strengthening its connection with WWE.
