Khali Rountree Jr. shares how he felt after training with Khamzat Chimaev
Former UFC title challenger Khalil Rountree Jr. believes training with Khamzat Chimaev has been eye-opening, exhausting, and humbling. These intense training sessions with “Borz” made the 36-year-old realize he still needs to make several improvements as a mixed martial artist. On the Jaxxon Podcast, “The War Horse” said:
“It was painful. There were definitely moments where I would call them humbling because they make me question certain things that I even say about myself. Sometimes I think I’m in good shape, and then I face a workout like this, and it makes me realize that there’s so much more to go. And so it’s eye-opening and overall good… I am exhausted.”
