Britt Baker Reveals Why She Isn’t On TV During AEW Revolution

Britt Baker has finally addressed the question many fans have been asking for months — why she hasn’t been appearing on All Elite Wrestling television.

During AEW Revolution 2026 on March 15, Baker responded directly to a fan on social media who questioned why the company had multiple returns and debuts throughout the show but still hadn’t brought her back.

The fan suggested AEW had missed a major opportunity by not featuring Baker despite several other appearances happening during the event. Baker replied with a short but telling message that made it clear the situation isn’t her decision.

“Not up to me.”

The response quickly gained attention online because it appears to confirm that Baker’s absence from AEW programming is not due to her choosing to stay away from television.

The comment also arrives after recent reporting about her contract status. During a February 2026 Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp explained that Baker remains under contract with AEW and that the company could potentially extend her deal due to time missed with injuries.

“She’s under contract for a number of months and then AEW could add time to her deal, which normally I wouldn’t think that they would, but now it seems like absolutely something that they would do.”

He also noted that Baker missed significant time due to physical issues, which could allow AEW to extend the contract if they choose.

“I mean, she missed like a long time due to some physical ailments and issues. So she could be under contract well into 2027.”

Baker has been largely absent from AEW television for an extended stretch despite previously being one of the promotion’s most prominent stars. While she has stated publicly that she is not retired, there has been little indication about when she might return to the ring. Her brief response during Revolution suggests that the decision about her return may ultimately rest with AEW rather than the former women’s champion herself.

Do you think Britt Baker should already be back on AEW television, or do you believe the company is saving her return for a bigger moment later this year? Let us know your thoughts and share your opinion in the comments.
