WTA Miami 2026, best odds, predictions & value bets

If you’re looking to bet on the Miami Open, then you’re in the right place. The women’s event got underway today (barely, thanks to the weather), and there are dozens more matches lined up over the coming days to bet on. I’ve broken down all the latest odds to identify the best value bets on the WTA Miami event, including a detailed look at the dark horses to watch out for.

Miami Open Women’s odds and favorites

Before we get into our dark horses, here are the women’s favorites heading into this year’s Miami Open:

2026 Miami WTA betting odds

  • Aryna Sabalenka @ 3.75 (+275)
  • Elena Rybakina @ 7.50 (+650)
  • Iga Swiatek @ 8.50 (+750)
  • Victoria Mboko @ 13.00 (+1200)
  • Jessica Pegula @ 13.00 (+1200)
  • Amanda Anisimova @ 15.00 (+1400)
  • Coco Gauff @ 17.00 (+1600)
  • Mirra Andreeva @ 26.00 (+2500)
  • Elina Svitolina @ 29.00 (+2800)

There are nine genuine contenders at the 2026 WTA Miami Open, though some obviously are priced a little shorter than others. Sabalenka is the favorite despite having gone the distance in Indian Wells, with odds half that of her opponent in that match, Rybakina.

Swiatek is just a sniff behind Rybakina, before there’s a bit of a drop off to Mboko, Pegula, Anisimova and Gauff who all sit on similar odds to win. Andreeva and Svitolina round out the contenders with much longer odds than the rest.

Top dark horses for Women’s Miami Open 2026

While dark horses jump off the draw in the men’s event, it’s a bit tougher for underdogs to get a look in for the women given how competitive the top 10 is. Still, here are some outsiders I’ll be keeping tabs on this week:

  • Taylor Townsend
  • Sara Bejlek
  • Elisabetta Cocciaretto
  • Katie Boulter

Taylor Townsend @ odds TBC

Townsend is on fire in doubles, having won back-to-back titles with Katerina Siniakova in Austin and Indian Wells. Her singles form isn’t quite so sharp, but there are signs of life and a good draw ahead of her in Miami.

The American is ranked No 80 in the world at the moment, though she’s picked up nine wins already in 2026 to just four losses. A fortnight ago she qualified for Indian Wells and knocked out Marie Bouzkova in her opener; now she’s a wildcard and has a qualifier up first. Win, and she’ll face the shaky Jasmine Paolini second round.

If a little more of her doubles form can carry over to her singles game, this is looking like a spot where Townsend could go on a run. Her last two visits to Miami she’s won four matches in a row each time, coming from qualifying. Could an entry into the main draw be just what she needs to go deeper?

Sara Bejlek @ odds TBC

Bejlek is seeing the ball like a watermelon in 2026, with the 20-year-old Czech bagging her maiden WTA 500 title in Abu Dhabi last month. Her eight-match winning streak was only stopped in Dubai when she withdrew with an ab injury. That’s a bit of a concern, however Dubai was close to a month ago now, so I’m choosing to believe that if she’s competing here in Miami, she’ll be back to full health.

Hers is a challenging yet not impossible draw, with Naomi Osaka waiting in the second round before Iva Jovic in the third if she gets past a qualifier in her opener. Considering Bejlek beat back-to-back top-20 opponents in Abu Dhabi, if she’s healthy then a run here is entirely feasible.

Elisabetta Cocciaretto @ odds TBC

Another in-form player coming into Miami is Cocciaretto. The Italian claimed a title in Hobart ahead of the Australian Open, then bagged another seven wins across the Middle Eastern swing, including the big scalp of Gauff.

She plays lucky loser Darja Semenistaja – another dark horse I’ve got my eye on – in her opener, before a potential rematch with Gauff. She’s beaten the American before, so there’s every chance she’ll do it again and see her draw open up.

Katie Boulter @ odds TBC

Boulter has already won her first match in Miami, edging out Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in two tight sets. That takes the Brit to 10-4 so far this year, thanks in large part to her title in Ostrava last month. She’s no stranger to conditions here in Miami, having played this event six times and made the round of 16 in 2024.

What I like is Boulter’s draw spot. She’s got Clara Tauson up next, who’s had a rocky season to date shipping seven losses already. Next would be Karolina Muchova who’s admittedly been in fine form this year, but looked gassed last week when she managed to win just two games against Swiatek.

Betting tips and value bets for WTA Miami Open 2026:

For some specific value bets on the women’s tennis in Miami, here are the angles I’m looking at:

  1. Finalists – Sabalenka vs Gauff @ odds TBC

While I did consider the prospect of Cocciaretto upsetting Gauff again in their second-round meeting, I actually think the American will have a bit of resurgence here and make the final against Sabalenka.

Gauff’s season hasn’t been shocking – United Cup semis, Australian Open quarters, Dubai semis – but it’s also not had a big result yet. The 22-year-old is too good to stay down for long, and having trained in Florida in the past, I expect these conditions will help her regain a little form. She’s in a tidy quarter absent of any other major title contenders, and is then seeded to play Swiatek in the semis, who she’s beaten in their last four meetings.

For Sabalenka, the case is clear: she’s a hard-court winning machine that just stacks Ws regardless of circumstance. I’m not concerned about the post-Indian Wells hangover, provided she gets through her first few matches, which I think she will.

  1. Quarter two winner – Jessica Pegula @ odds TBC

I am tipping Rybakina to fall early in Miami though, with Pegula progressing from this quarter instead at a nice, juicy price.

The American made the final here last year and has won her quarter on two other occasions as well, in 2022 and 2023, while she made the last eight in 2024. All this to say, she’s consistent and loves these courts.

Coming here off the back of a last-eight run in Indian Wells, paired with a title in Dubai and a semi-final appearance in Melbourne, it’s safe to say Pegula is striking the ball well in 2026. Even if she does have to face Rybakina in the quarters, I’m tipping her to go through.

  1. McCartney Kessler to beat Andreeva @ 4.20 (+320)

For those hunting a more immediate return, here’s a spicy one: Kessler will extend her head-to-head record over Andreeva to 2-0.

The American beat her in Montreal on a similar surface late last year, albeit in differing conditions. She’s had a mixed season so far, with quarter-final runs in Abu Dhabi and Austin mixed with a handful of early exits. However, she’s won her opener already in Miami, seeing off world No 37 Magdalena Frech in three sets.

What draws me to this bet – besides those 4.20 (+320) tennis odds – is Andreeva’s headspace. The last time she played in front of an American audience she literally told them, which will make for a frosty reception here in Miami undoubtedly. At just just 18 years old still, having the crowd against her could be a tough ask for the mentally fragile teen.
