Racquet X Concludes Third Year With A Smash

RacquetX concluded on Sunday, March 15th, in South Florida, reinforcing its role as the “Home Court for Racquet Sports” and signaling a new era of collaboration, crossover, and collective growth across the global racquet sports industry.   Known as ‘America’s Festival of Racquet Sports’, RacquetX was held March 13–15 at the Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale, and brought together athletes, brands, creators, investors, and innovators from across tennis, padel, pickleball, squash, badminton, racquetball, table tennis, and emerging racquet sports sectors, the most impactful show to date.   Held over three days, RacquetX surpassed expectations, welcoming over 175 brands who engaged with thousands of business leaders and players on 10 courts for activations, highlighting the rapid expansion of racquet sports and the increasing collaboration between disciplines.

A Defining Moment for a Unifying Industry The overriding theme of RacquetX 2026 was clear: the racquet sports industry is entering its era of unification.   From the rise of multi-racquet sports clubs to new cross-disciplinary partnerships between brands, operators, and leagues, to NFL players adopting racquet sports as their new sport of choice, the lines between racquet sports are increasingly dissolving.   “With record numbers of attendees and engagement from the North America’s racquet sports industry, RacquetX 2026 proved the power of our sports working together for the greater good. Whether it’s pickleball tech brands partnering with their padel counterparts, the rapid rise of the multi-racquet sports venue, padel racquet brands diversifying into pickleball, or the arrival of TYPTI and INTENNSE, racquet sports are converging and seeing the value of working as a collective. Once again, we’re proud to play the role of being that ‘home court’ for an industry that’s enjoying ‘its moment’.

RacquetX Strengthens Its Position as the Industry’s “Home Court” As RacquetX concluded Sunday afternoon, the event further cemented its position as the global gathering point for the racquet sports industry.   Across three days, RacquetX brought together the full spectrum of the ecosystem—from grassroots participation and club innovation to professional leagues, emerging formats, and global brands shaping the future of the industry.   As new facilities increasingly house multiple racquet sports under one roof—and as athletes, fans, and brands move fluidly between them—the industry is entering a period of unprecedented opportunity.

Competition and Innovation on Display The NPL Finals delivered high-energy action on court as teams competed for the championship – and bragging rights – in front of an enthusiastic crowd with The Trading Club (representing Reserve Solemia) defeating Dallas outfit (representing Padel 39) in the final. The X-Club Showcase saw eight of the top padel clubs in the country go head-to- head with Brisas defeating Reserve in a nail-biting final.   RacquetX also hosted the inaugural INTENNSE Draft, marking the first professional tennis player draft in INTENNSE history. The draft saw 80 players selected across 10 teams, setting the stage for the league’s expanded 2026 season and reflecting the broader evolution of professional racquet sports formats. The fast-paced, team-based format proved its credentials as a bold, modern reinvention of tennis, and looks set to continue in its goal to welcome a new generation of tennis enthusiasts.

Athletes, Creators, and Cultural Crossovers RacquetX 2026 also demonstrated how racquet sports are expanding beyond traditional audiences. NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens stepped onto the court with five-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry to play TYPTI, the new head-turning racquet sport founded by Tennis Channel founder Steve Bellamy. Meanwhile, adding to the NFL flavor was former Carolina Panthers star Tre Boston hosting a women’s padel clinician competing in the ‘Creators Clash, which saw some of racquet sports’ best content creators compete in multiple racquet sports.   Across the venue, content creators and media personalities joined athletes and industry leaders, highlighting the growing cultural momentum around racquet sports and their increasing reach across entertainment, social media, and lifestyle communities.   Former ATP World No. 5 and two-time Grand Slam finalist Kevin Anderson delivered a widely attended session focused on the importance of mental health and athlete wellbeing, emphasizing the evolving conversation around performance, resilience, and long-term player support.
