5 Wildest Spots From Darby Allin vs Gabe Kidd Coffin Match On AEW Dynamite

AEW delivered one of its wildest matches of 2026 with Darby Allin vs Gabe Kidd in a brutal Coffin Match on the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.

What started as a grudge match quickly turned into complete violence, with both men taking heavy punishment all over the arena and outside of it. From a crazy car crash to biting each other, this match had everything fans could expect from Darby at his most extreme.

Here are five of the wildest spots from the match:

1. Car flip

The fight didn’t even wait for the bell. Kidd attacked Darby in the parking lot, and things got out of control immediately. Darby knocked Kidd out with a chemical-soaked rag and shoved him into a car trunk. He then drove the car off a pile of trash, flipping it over with Kidd still inside.

Allin then crawled out while Kidd fell from the trunk of the car that had completely flipped over. Allin then dragged Kidd to the arena.

2. Coffin slap onto Darby’s fingers

When the fight moved to the ringside, things stayed brutal. Allin tried to control Kidd using a straitjacket and his skateboard, but Kidd fought back hard.

At one point, Kidd slammed the coffin lid onto Allin’s fingers. The impact looked painful enough to make everyone feel the pain even through screens.

3. Skateboard Wheel Slam

Allin’s skateboard played a big role again. Despite still being partially restricted by the straitjacket, once Kidd got back in control, he picked up Allin and slammed him on the wheels of the skateboard in the ring.

The pain, again!

4. Biting Exchange (Head and Nose Bite)

The match got even more animalistic with several biting moments. Both men started biting each other. Kidd bit Allin’s forehead, making him bleed, and later, Allin bit Kidd’s nose to escape the coffin.

5. Gabe Kidd Hits Powerslam While Restrained In Straightjacket

One of the most impressive moments came when Kidd, stuck in a straitjacket, still managed to hit a running powerslam on Allin.

In the end, Darby Allin finished the match in his usual wild style. He hit a suicide dive that sent Gabe Kidd crashing into the coffin to get the win.

After the match, Allin grabbed a mic and made it clear he wasn’t done yet and is now aiming for something bigger.
