The Hardys have nothing but praise for a major TNA star.
Speaking to WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard, TNA World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy opened up about the locker room culture in the iMPACT Zone.
“I mean, I feel like that’s just something that’s kind of happened the whole time we’ve been back at TNA. There are always people who come and pick our brains, like, ‘Hey, what could we do better?’
“Anytime we work with somebody, no matter who it is or what their experience level might be, we ask if there’s anything we noticed that stood out, or anything they could do differently or improve,” Hardy said.

Hardy also took the opportunity to praise Leon Slater and Dani Luna, referring to Slater as “our kid” while expressing disappointment for Luna to have faced visa issues right after having a breakout performance against Indi Hartwell in their Dog Collar match.
“Someone who has really absorbed everything like a sponge has been Leon Slater,” Hardy said. “The visa stuff finally got cleared up. We had a couple of issues there, [but] he’s back for the immediate future, and we’ve worked with him quite a bit. We’re very proud of him. We’ve kind of taken him under our wing. Leon Slater is our kid, through and through, and we’re super happy and proud of him for all the success he’s also finding on the WWE brand as well.
“And also, I hate that Dani Luna had just had this breakout match [and got caught up in the visa issue], you know, that dog collar match where she was bleeding. The visual was incredible. It’s exciting that we’ll have her back too, because I think she’s really ready to step it up and move to another level.”
Leon Slater is the reigning TNA X-Division Champion. As for Luna, she has a guaranteed shot at the Knockouts World Championship. Both stars are advertised for this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT.
