LOS ANGELES – The buzz around the debut of “Foos Fighting Championship” just got even louder.
COMBATE GLOBAL and Foos Gone Wild have officially rescheduled their inaugural MMA event to Saturday, April 25, shifting from its original March date after overwhelming fan interest. The event will take place at EstrellaTV studios in Burbank.
Tickets for the April 25 event are currently available via Ticketon.com.
The card will air live in Spanish on EstrellaTV in the United States at 9:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. CT, immediately following a Liga MX broadcast. Fans can also watch the event live in both the U.S. and Mexico on Samsung TV Plus, with an English-language stream available on Samsung TV Plus and the Foos Gone Wild YouTube channel.
Originally scheduled for Thursday, March 26, the decision to move the event reflects the growing excitement surrounding the unique concept.
“The response from both ‘foos’ and fight fans alike to the recent ‘Foos Fighting Championship’ series announcement has been so overwhelming that we are moving the event to Saturday in order to go even bigger on a weekend night,” said COMBATE GLOBAL CEO Campbell McLaren.
The enthusiasm isn’t just coming from viewers — it’s coming from aspiring fighters as well.
“Every time I’ve posted on social media about ‘Foos Fighting Championship’, I’ve gotten lit up by foos that don’t just want to watch the event – a lot of these foos want to get in there and scrap. So, we’re gonna move the fights to a Saturday and push the date back a couple of weeks in order to evaluate who the best potential fighters are,” said Lil’ Mr. E.
A New Pathway for Fighters
Launching April 25, the “Foos Fighting Championship” series will feature four events in 2026. The concept centers on real-life “foos” — individuals who embody the brand’s urban Hispanic culture and have a passion for fighting — competing in amateur MMA bouts.
The series is designed to serve as a talent pipeline for COMBATE GLOBAL, similar to how Dana White’s Contender Series feeds into the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It aims to uncover raw, gym-tested fighters ready to take the next step into the professional ranks.
All bouts will be regulated by the California Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Association, ensuring compliance with state athletic standards.
The project is a collaboration between Lil’ Mr. E and McLaren, who co-founded the UFC and continues to push innovation in combat sports.
Fighters for the April 25 event are expected to be announced soon.
COMBATE GLOBAL’s Big 2026 Plans
The launch of this new series comes as COMBATE GLOBAL continues an aggressive 2026 schedule. The promotion has already held two live events this year and plans to stage 20 total events — all produced from EstrellaTV studios in Burbank.
With a fresh concept, strong cultural identity, and a built-in fanbase, “Foos Fighting Championship” is shaping up to be one of the most unique fight series to watch this year.
