3 top performers in Hundred 2024 whom Mumbai Indians can target for IPL 2025

Mumbai Indians finished last in IPL 2024. Many expected them to win the title with the solid squad they had. One of the reasons for their failure is the poor show of the overseas players. In this regard, the management could consider signing some top performers from the recent Hundred competition. Here, we take a look at the list of three top performers in Hundred 2024 whom Mumbai Indians can target for IPL 2025.

1) Sam Curran

Sam Curran is likely to be released by Punjab Kings. The reasons are his inconsistency in the IPL and also the fact that he may not warrant a big fee that has to be paid for retention before a Mega Auction.

Sam did well in both departments in the Hundred 2024. Mumbai Indians have always had a left-handed overseas pacer. Sam would be the perfect choice in this regard, especially also because he can bat well.

2) Adam Zampa

Adam Zampa is one of the top performers in Hundred 2024 whom Mumbai Indians can target for IPL 2025. It was a surprise that MI did not try to sign an established pacer in IPL 2024 Auctions. It was a mistake and it backfired for them.

Zampa has been doing well in various leagues now. He would be one of the better choices to have in the setup for the side. Therefore, he is likely to be on the target list for MI.

3) Harry Brook

The Englishman played seven games to score 163 runs at a strike rate close to 150. Brook did not play for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024 due to personal reasons. Hence, he could be released.

Harry Brook is a future superstar. He can play at No.5 and can also open the innings. He would be ideal to fit in at Mumbai because of the Wankhede Stadium track, which could be best suited to Brook’s strengths. Hence, he is on this list.
