Former Ghana U-20 midfielder Emmanuel Agyei announced himself in style with his first goal for Dundee United in their impressive 2-0 victory over Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

The 21-year-old capped a fine individual performance with a well-taken goal in the second half at Tannadice Park, helping his side secure a memorable win over the reigning champions.

After a tightly contested first half, Dundee broke the deadlock shortly after the restart through Irish midfielder Will Ferry, who finished off a neat assist from Luca Stephenson to give the hosts the lead.

Agyei then took center stage in the 66th minute, calmly slotting home to double Dundee’s advantage and put the result beyond doubt.

His goal sparked wild celebrations among the home supporters as the underdogs completed a famous victory.

The former Dreams FC midfielder has been a key addition to the squad since arriving during the January transfer window from Israeli side Ashdod FC.

His energy, composure, and growing influence in midfield have quickly made him a fan favorite.

Since his move, Agyei has made seven appearances for Dundee, registering one goal and earning a Man of the Match award – an indication of his rapid adaptation to Scottish football.

His latest performance not only highlights his quality but also strengthens his case for future national team consideration as he continues to develop his game abroad.
