ATP Miami – Monday OOP – Open Court

No. 7 seed Félix Auger-Aliassime was due to clash with No. 26 Arthur Rinderknech in the third round in Miami. Instead, he meets unseeded Térence Atmane, whose ceiling is likely lower but who is in form.

Atman, younger than FAA at 24, is just a couple of spots off his career high ranking of No. 54. So he doesn’t have the same kind of resumé. But Altmaier and Rinderknech is a pretty decent draw in a Masters 1000, so his top level is more than enough to give him the change to get through that.

Defending champ Jakub Mensik meets American Frances Tiafoe, whose top level IS good enough to post the upset and who is playing, more or less, at home.

(Miami is on EDT).
