The Black Stars have opened camp in Vienna ahead of their clash with Austria with 14 players on the opening day.
Turkish based Daniel Agyei was the first to arive in camp, followed by captain Jordan Ayew, Prince Kwabena Adu, Jonas Adjei Adjetey , Ibrahim Sulemana, Auxerre duo, Elisha Owusu and Gideon Mensah, Oviedo’s Kwesi Sibo, Derick Kohn with Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga.
Others include, Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare, Patric Pfeiffer of Darmstadt 98, Jerome Opoku, and Joseph Tetteh Anang.

More players and the technical team are expected to join the team as fine tune their World Cup preparations using Austria and Germany in an international friendly match on Friday, March 27 and March,30,2026 respectively.

More players are expected to join the camp on Monday, as the team gears up for their first collective training session. This initial gathering in the Austrian capital marks the beginning of an intense and focused period of preparation for the squad.
Ghana is set to face Austria in an international friendly match on Friday, March 27, 2026.
This fixture is a crucial part of the Black Stars’ build-up for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in Mexico, Canada, and the United States of America in June.
