Nikki Bella has responded publicly after a fan account labelled her supporters as the “most toxic” fanbase in WWE, sparking a social media exchange that quickly gained attention.
The situation began on March 23, 2026, when a fan account shared a list ranking various WWE fanbases based on personal experiences.
The “Bella Army” topped that list — but the response from Nikki and Brie Bella suggested the conversation was far from settled.
Replying through their official account, Nikki and Brie pushed back firmly on the label. They described the criticism as coming from a “hateful headspace” and instead framed their fanbase as supportive and positive.
“Leave my Bella Army alone,” they wrote, while also calling their followers “light workers” who “spread love, light and truth.” The message implied that their community stands together, especially when facing negativity — a clear attempt to flip the narrative from toxic to tight-knit.
The original post, however, included context. The fan clarified that not everyone in any fanbase is toxic and later responded respectfully, stating that their experiences included personal attacks directed at their family. They also acknowledged that toxicity exists across multiple fanbases, not just one.
The list itself featured several major WWE names, including Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, and The Bloodline, among others. Still, placing the Bella Army at number one clearly struck a nerve — and the Bellas didn’t tag out of the discussion quietly.
This exchange comes amid Nikki and Brie’s recent return to WWE programming, where they’ve set their sights on the Women’s Tag Team Championships. As their on-screen presence grows again, so does the spotlight on their fanbase.
For now, the message from Nikki is clear — when it comes to her supporters, she’s not turning heel on them anytime soon.
