Tuttosport newspaper reports that Juventus are in talks with Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger, who is available on a free transfer as his contract expires in June.

Juventus open talks with Rudiger

Juventus are interested in Real Madrid centre-back Rudiger and, according to Tuttosport, the Serie A giants have already opened talks with the Germany international whose contract with the Merengues expires in June.

The Bianconeri’s coach, Luciano Spalletti, is a huge admirer of the experienced centre-back. The pair already worked together at Roma from 2015 to 2017, with the defender making 54 appearances at the Olimpico under the Italian tactician.

According to the report, Liverpool and Manchester United have also sounded out the defender’s availability, but the Red Devils are expected to pull out of the race if they reach an agreement to extend Harry Maguire’s contract.

Juventus are reportedly determined to offer Rudiger a three-year contract worth €5m-€6m per season.

The defender’s future at the Bernabéu remains uncertain, even though the ex-Roma star has recently regained a starting spot under Álvaro Arbeloa.

If the Spaniard remains in charge of Real Madrid for 2026-27, he’ll ask the club to extend Rudiger’s contract.
