Mo Salah Agent: NO Transfer Agreed

Mohamed Salah‘s agent has revealed that his next club has NOT been organised, following the announcement that the Egyptian is to leave Liverpool after nine seasons.

Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has never been shy of speaking his mind, so it is no surprise that he has publicly spoken soon after the announcement on Tuesday evening.

The news was announced on Tuesday night, with Salah posting an emotional video on his Instagram, and the club making a statement to explain that “Salah expressed his wish to make this announcement to the supporters at the earliest possible opportunity to provide transparency about his future due to his respect and gratitude for them.”

Soon after, Salah’s agent took to social media to declare that the player’s next move has not been organised – and therefore to ignore any media speculation around who the player, who turns 34 this summer, will be playing for next season:

We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows. Beware of the click-whoring attention seekers.

Salah has previously been linked with a move to the Saudi league, as well as within Europe with PSG.

No transfer fee for Mo Salah

The announcement that Salah’s contract is to be terminated will come as a shock, having only signed a new two-year extension a year ago.

But after some very public criticism of the club in December, this news will not be a total surprise.

Salah said then that he felt “like the club is throwing me under the bus, that’s how I feel. I think it’s very clear that someone wants me to get all the blame.”

He went on to discuss his broken relationship with Arne Slot, and added: “It seems to me, I would say, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.”

Salah is reported to earn £25 million per season, meaning while Liverpool won’t get a transfer fee, they will reduce their wage bill considerably.

Where next for Salah remains to be seen.

Liverpool have seven league games remaining, plus an FA Cup quarter final and a Champions League quarter final, meaning a minimum of 10 more games this season.

Salah is currently third in Liverpool’s all-time goalscorers list, with 255 goals.
