Chelsea will hope to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup by beating League One side Port Vale when they return to action after the international break.

The Blues welcome Port Vale to Stamford Bridge on April 4, before crucial Premier League matches against Manchester City and then Manchester United.

Liam Rosenior has found himself under increasing pressure of late, with his side having lost four matches in a row across all competitions, and the Englishman will be desperate to return to winning ways against the Valiants.

Off the pitch, uncertainty continues to surround the future of midfielder Enzo Fernandez, and it now appears that the Argentine is attracting interest from the Middle East.

As per Spanish outlet Fichajes, via CaughtOffside, Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad are prepared to pay as much as £172 million to sign Blues midfielder Fernandez.

The report claims that the Pro League side are set to make an attempt to sign the Argentina international this summer and are willing to pay a huge amount to finalise a deal.

Fernandez, 25, joined the Blues for a fee of around £106.8 million from Portuguese outfit Benfica back in 2023 and in doing so became not only the most expensive player in Premier League history, but also the fifth most expensive player in history.

Since then the midfielder has scored 28 goals and registered 29 assists in 161 matches for the Blues across all competitions, building a reputation as one of the best in the world in his position.

The Argentine is under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2031/32 campaign, but it is currently unclear whether or not the player himself would be willing to join Al Ittihad.

Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain – who knocked the Blues out of the competition at the last 16 stage earlier this month – are also said to be interested in the midfielder.
