The Kenya Cup has confirmed venues and kick-off times for the two previously postponed fixtures, both now set to be played on Saturday, 28 March 2026.
The matches involving KU Blak Blad against Impala RFC and Nondescripts RFC versus MMUST RFC had earlier been delayed, prompting discussions within competition structures to determine suitable dates for their rescheduling.
In a communication released after further consultations, the Kenya Cup committee confirmed that the clash between KU Blak Blad and Impala RFC will now be played at the Kenyatta University Grounds, with kick-off set for 4:00 pm. The fixture had initially failed to kick off due to an unplayable pitch, leading to a determination by the competition body. However, the decision to reschedule the match less than 72 hours after that ruling sparked debate among the affected clubs.
EDITOR’S PICKS:
The second fixture will see Nondescripts RFC host MMUST RFC at the Nairobi Racecourse along Ngong Road, also kicking off at 4:00 pm.
Both matches carry significant implications. MMUST RFC will be targeting a maximum five points to secure their top-flight status, while Nondescripts RFC require a win to boost their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
