Current AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla is staying with the promotion.
According to a report by Fightful Select, Thekla has re-signed with AEW. AEW was so happy with her performance, they made the move to sign her to a new, multi-year deal not even a full year into her original two year deal. She works as one-third of Triangle of Madness (with Skye Blue and Julia Hart).
Thekla defeated Kris Statlander for the title last month. Since her win, she has defended successfully against Thunder Rosa and a rematch with Statlander at Revolution.
