Arsenal face Championship side Southampton in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup when they return to action after the international break.

The Gunners were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday afternoon, ending their hopes of completing an unprecedented quadruple this season.

Mikel Arteta will hope to see his side beat the Saints and reach the semi finals of the FA Cup, while the north London outfit also boast a nine-point advantage at the top of the Premier League table and are in the quarters of the Champions League.

Away from the action, it has now emerged that Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign a France international midfielder.

As per CaughtOffside, the Gunners have been given the opportunity to sign Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga this summer.

The report claims that the Frenchman has been offered to Arsenal by his representatives as they search for a new club for the player.

Camavinga joined Real from Rennes in 2021 and has since built a reputation as one of the best central midfielders in Europe, however it is claimed that the La Liga giants could be willing to sell the player for a fee of around £43 million this summer.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all also said to be aware of the France international’s situation, with a move away from the Spanish capital seemingly increasingly likely.

Camavinga has made more than 210 appearances for Los Blancos during his five years with the club so far, but it is claimed that he could be sold during this summer’s transfer window.

Liverpool were previously deemed to be leading the race to sign Camavinga, with the reigning Premier League champions having held two rounds of talks with the player’s representatives.
