Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were one of the two new entrants in the IPL in 2022.
In the very first season, they stormed into the playoffs. LSG sealed a spot in the Eliminator, though they lost the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
LSG repeated their performance in the next season. They made it to another Eliminator in 2023. But this time, they went down against Mumbai Indians.
