Huge Match Made Official For The 2026 AEW Dynasty PPV

During last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay will face reigning AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley of the Death Riders in a non-title match at the 2026 AEW Dynasty PPV next month.

The match was set up when Ospreay delivered a backstage promo, calling out PAC to meet him in Winnipeg next week. Ospreay talked about wanting to alter Moxley’s life as Moxley did to him when he tried to break Ospreay’s neck. He expressed his desire to face Moxley at Dynasty, seeking revenge for the assault he endured at the hands of Moxley and the Death Riders during AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Ospreay returned the favor by attacking Moxley at Revolution.

Later in the night, after the Death Riders won a mixed trios match against Zayda Steel and Top Flight, Moxley cut a promo addressing Ospreay. Moxley acknowledged that Ospreay is very upset, but he emphasized that the Death Riders don’t take the situation personally. He confirmed that if Ospreay wants a grudge match at Dynasty, he can have it. AEW then officially confirmed the match.

AEW Dynasty 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, April 12th, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The show will air live on PPV.
